Kuka Robotics (Clinton Township, MI) announced the appointment of Stuart Shepherd as president of its U.S. operations. Shepherd will head engineering, sales, marketing, and customer service for Kuka Robotics Corp., the North American operation of parent company Kuka Roboter GmbH. Shepherd has more than 27 years of international robotic automation industry experience; prior to joining Kuka, he was founder and president of Shepherd Solutions, a business development and management consulting firm that focused on robotic automation OEMs and related organizations. Kuka Roboter GmbH is a worldwide manufacturer of industrial robots with a reported annual production volume approaching 10,000 units.
