E-shots Web-exclusive: Milacron names two machinery execs

Milacron Inc. (Batavia, OH) announced on Dec. 20 that it had appointed David J. Bertke to be VP, machinery technologies North America, and Guy G. A. Moilliet to be managing director, machinery technologies Europe. They replace Robert K. Simpson, who had been VP, global plastics machinery since November 2006. He was reported to be leaving to pursue other interests.

Bertke, who has been with Milacron for 35 years, most recently held the post of general manager of the company's global extrusion business. In his new post he is responsible for the injection molding, extrusion, and blowmolding sectors, as well as Milacron's machinery operations in Asia. He holds a BSME degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Xavier University.

Moilliet, who will preside over Milacron's injection and blowmolding operations in Europe, has held the post of managing director for Ferromatik Milacron, the company's European injection molding business. He came to Milacron Mikron Technologies (Switzerland), where he was chief operating officer. He holds bachelor and postgraduate degrees in biology from the University of Berne.
