Rhodia says it will spend $50 million to add a 48,000-metric-ton polyamide polymerization unit at its facility in Onsan, South Korea. The company says it is the second largest PA producer globally and the largest in the Asian PA 6/6 market, which is growing at about 20% annually. The new unit will enter production at the end of 2007.
