Gerresheimer closes on Wilden

Glass packaging power Gerresheimer Group GmbH (Düsseldorf) has completed its acquisition of Wilden AG (Regensburg, Germany), one of Europe’s most renowned injection molders. Gerresheimer points to Wilden’s expertise in the medical market, for products such as inhalers, as its primary reason for the purchase, but Wilden is also known as an innovative molder in the automotive, cosmetics packaging, and technical parts markets.

Wilden has three processing facilities in Germany plus ones in Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, the Czech Republic, the U.S., China, Bulgaria, Dubai, and Mexico. It employs almost 2300 and has about €240 million annual sales.—[email protected]
