Global hot sprue bushings

Engineered for direct part gating in single-cavity molds, the new Polimax hot sprue bushing from D-M-E Co. comes in 15 standard versions for running commodities, and in 15 high-performance versions, incorporating head heaters, for engineering-grade materials. Moreover, they?re available with all-metric hard dimensions, so, if you?re a transnational, you?re good to go.

Standard and wear-resistant tips are available in three styles:

1) sprue gates for low flow resistance with really good flow rates
2) ring gates with a sealed tip for good shutoff at the part surface
3) point gates for high-viscosity resins, engineering plastics, and applications with strict cosmetic requirements. Precise thermal control, lengths up to 185 mm, four locating ring options, and flow channel sizes from 8-12 mm are among their other hot features.—CK
