The CentriCut granulator is designed for up to five times the output of a standard open-rotor granulator with one-third of the energy consumption. Material is fed via a screw infeed into the center of the cutting chamber where three rotating blades and four fixed blades cut the material. The combination of centrifugal force and a large 270° screening area provides for efficient, high-volume production with low horsepower requirements. This design also enables the material to quickly evacuate the machine resulting in a limited number of fines. The granulator also incorporates an automated self-cleaning system for quick color or material changes. The compact design comes with a soundproof enclosure and a pneumatic discharge system.
