Horizontal Panel Saw Cuts Small Pieces, Maximizes Yield

pn7-0200.jpgThe Patriot CNC panel saw from Hendrick has a 40-in. wide solid back table forcutting small pieces, and optimizing software that is said to create the best cut pattern and to allow cut planning and cutting to be simulated before starting.

Unit also has an infinitely variable saw carriage, automatic side aligner for holding narrow pieces against the side squaring fence and adjustable air-floatation front table for easy panel handling.

The saw can cut at speeds up to 150 ft/min with accuracy rated at ± 0.005 in. repeatability. It is powered by a 15-hp continuous-duty main saw blade motor and a 2-hp scoring blade motor.

The material pusher is driven by an ac servo; rack-and-pinion grippers hold the panel securely. The jaw opens for a 4-in. deep cut.

Prices start at $65,000 and go up depending on options.
