IQMS launches Indian sales presence

that it had been fielding several requests a week to install its system into Indian manufacturing facilities, prompting it to actively seek a partner in country to assist with sales. The company had its first sale into India earlier this year.

IQMS’s new channel partner is a locally owned, IQMS-certified company that was previously affiliated with Shaily Plastics, a large manufacturing company in India. In addition to Sangvi, who formerly worked with Shaily, the new business will have three additional employees. IQMS says the channel partner arrangement allows sales and support to be provided to manufacturers in India, with corporate technical support operations based from the U.S. The company already has a channel partner in Asia, as it works to expand global business. At this point in time, 14% of its sales come from outside the U.S.

In June, IQMS opened an office in east Hertfordshire, England in Bishop’s Stortford to provide a direct sales channel to UK manufacturing businesses and provide support for existing customers across Europe. Prior to opening the office, IQMS appointed Fred Phillips as a senior account executive to manage local sales and support across Europe. —[email protected]
