What's Hot! Secotec cycling dryers have a control that operates the refrigerant compressor only when necessary. This is done by using a thermal mass medium for storage (the thermal mass medium is solid to prevent leaks). The refrigerant system cools the medium to a certain temperature, cuts off and cuts back on only after reaching the predetermined temperature level. An air-to-air heat exchanger reduces the load on the refrigeration system by pre-cooling the inlet air.

* The Condensate Management System uses a six-stage separation system to automatically separate oil from condensate, eliminating the need for disposal by outside contractors. Six sizes are available.

* Rotary screw air compressors are available from 3 to 600 hp and in pressure ranges from 80 to 205 psig for flows from 4.5 to 3308 cu ft/min. Units are said to produce more air/hp to save 20% in energy costs.

* Omega-paK blower packages are rotary lobe blowers that run quietly (in the low 70 dbA range). Units are available in flows to 4400 cu ft/min at pressures to 15 psig and vacuums to 15 in. of mercury.

* Booster compressors are reciprocating units that provide pressures to 650 psig. They can be used to boost existing plant pressure and eliminate the need for separate high-pressure systems for PET bottling systems and other applications.

* Rotary screw vacuum packages are available in six models from 10 to 40 hp with capacities from 168 to 555 cu ft/min. Maximum vacuum is rated at 99.9%. Features include switchable modulation/dual control, an oversized intake filter and a full-flow positive displacement pump.
