Lohia Corp Limited launches new vision at K 2013

Lohia Corp Limited, formerly known as Lohia Starlinger Limited, launched its new logo at K 2013, which the company says represents the "renewed energy, passion for excellence, with the italicized characters giving the sense of forward motion and rooted dynamism."

Lohia Corp Limited, formerly known as Lohia Starlinger Limited, launched its new logo at K 2013, which the company says represents the "renewed energy, passion for excellence, with the italicized characters giving the sense of forward motion and rooted dynamism."  

Lohia Starlinger Limited was started in 1981 to address the flexible packaging industry needs in India. It started as a collaboration with Starlinger & Co. Austria to produce circular weaving machines. In 1984, the company collaborated with Windmoller & Holscher to start the manufacture of PP/HDPE tape extrusion lines and lamination plants for plastic woven fabric.  

Untitled.jpgLohia Corp Limited acquired its new name upon the exit of Starlinger & Co. GmbH as a shareholder in the company, which went into effect in March 2013. As a member company of Lohia Group, the company says its new name represents its aspirations to leverage core competencies in design and manufacturing to achieve leadership in the plastic processing machinery industry. 

Lohia Corp based in New Delhi, India, showcased its capabilities and expertise of providing end-to-end solutions for the production of flexible plastic woven fabric packaging for a wide range of applications such as bags, sacks, and tarpaulin, FIBC (jumbo bags), carpet backing, leno bags and more. At K, the Lohia stand received more than 350 active inqurires from almost 75 countries.

The company is "strategically prepared to unlock its immense potential by setting new industry standards."
