Milacron Plastics Machinery has created a new global key accounts team and several new positions that it says are designed to give customers greater access to the company's technical knowhow. "For more and more customers, this expertise no longer lives inside their organizations, so it's more important than ever that they can tap into it in our company," explained Dave Lawrence, president of Milacron Plastics Machinery, in a press release.

Glenn Anderson has been named to one of the new positions, becoming the Sr. VP global key accounts. Anderson has more than 27 years of experience in both injection and extrusion technologies.

Milacron Plastics Machinery is also reorganizing its sales staff on a regional basis instead of on a product-line basis. It believes this move will expand its reach and ability to engage with customers.

The U.S.-Canadian market will be grouped into two primary regions. Bob Strickley, VP sales, will take one Eastern and Central North America, and Tom Brown, VP Sales, will handle the Southern and Western portions of North America.

The Mexican market will be combined with the Latin and South American markets and managed by Michael Ferlic, VP sales Mexico, Latin, and South America. Fadi Abdal will become VP Sales for the Middle East and Africa. Mike Puhalla will take on the new role of General Manager/Technical Director for the global extrusion organization. Puhalla and his team will focus on supporting the application and sales of extrusion equipment and systems in the America's and across the globe. —PlasticsToday Staff
