Gneuss Inc. (Matthews, NC), the North American subsidiary of Gneuss Kunststofftechnik GmbH, has hired on Roger Clarke as a sales engineer for screen changers and polymer filtration systems. Clarke, who came to Gneuss from Davis-Standard, will manage a territory covering Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Clarke has more than 20 years of experience in plastics, previously working with HPM and PTI, in addition to Davis-Standard.
ACS Group (New Berlin, WI) has named Mike Anderson as its regional sales manager for Florida where he will be a direct salesman for all of the ACS Group product lines. Anderson has more than 16 years of experience selling granulators, started with ACS's AEC/Nelmor division, where he worked as an inside sales assistant for two years. In the intervening years, Anderson spent time with The Conair Group and Rapid.
German Laverde has resigned from Gloucester Engineering (Gloucester, MA) where he most recently served as director of sales-Latin America. Educated at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and the Universidad de Los Andes, Laverde had previously worked at Gloucester as its director of new business development. Prior to that, he was the director of marketing and communications at Battenfeld Gloucester. He was named the director of sales-Latin America in December 2008.
Wilmington Machinery (Wilmington, NC), a manufacturer of rotary coextrusion blowmolding systems and structural foam injection molding machinery, has appointed Andreas Lehnhofer to be its operation manager/product manager for its injection molding division. Lehnhofer has 20 years experience in engineering/design, application, and sales, with stints in the U.S. and Europe at machinery suppliers Battenfeld and KraussMaffei.
