Nelipak figures process validation is ready for its close up

A series of short videos dedicated to process validation has been launched on YouTube by Nelipak Healthcare Packaging (Cranston, RI), a supplier of custom thermoformed packaging for medical and pharmaceutical products. The videos, hosted by Elizabeth Nugent, Global Director, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, are designed to demystify process validation by explaining the purpose it serves and demonstrating the benefits for customers.

In the eight videos, Nugent outlines the elements of a process validation program: the master validation plan and report; operational, installation, and process qualification; design of experiment; and measurement analysis. In each segment, she describes the activity itself and contextualizes its importance to the overall process.

Nelipak Corp. was formed near the end of 2013, when private equity firm Mason Wells, members of management, and other investors bought the rigid medical packaging business of Sealed Air, as reported in PlasticsToday.
