Nowofil has added its tenth film line, and sixth line that the company has developed itself.

In what it says will help it prepare for the future and for “the continuously growing markets in Eastern Europe, Russia, Asia and South America,” film extrusion processor Nowofol (Siegsdorf, Germany) has added the tenth monoaxially oriented polypropylene (MOPP) film line to its stable, this one for film thicknesses from 50-150 µm. This is the sixth film extrusion/stretching line that the company has developed itself.

Nowofol also processes HDPE and other polyolefins, serving application areas including tear-resistant strapping tapes, tear tapes for the tobacco and packaging industries, carry handles in the beverage industry, and release liners for double-sided tapes and die cuts in the automotive and electronics industries.
