OEM-Quality GranulatorKnives And Screens Available

0801pn-14.jpgEMI has added a line of OEM-quality granulator blades and knives, as well as screens. The knives are made of premium-grade high chromium alloy tool steel (D-2) and are hardened with a heat treatment process. To reduce brittleness, they are double tempered to suit a customer's application. EMI's knives are said to provide up to 25% longer service life than competitive blades. For longer life, the blades can be cryogenically treated or ordered with a carbide coating on the cutting edge.

EMI says it stocks most common sizes and configurations; custom or unusual sizes can be ordered.

The granulator screens are constructed of high-grade materials chosen to suit a range of applications. To prevent micro-cracking and extend life, holes are drilled, rather than perforated (or punched). Both the knives and screens are said to be priced to "help keep production costs under control."
