Plastic pallet processor Cabka has acquired Austrian reusable plastics packaging developer Pack'nlog GmbH. Pack'nlog is a processor of folding plastic crates. Terms of the acquisition were not released.

Pack'nlog's plastic crates help Cabka expand its reusable plastic packaging business.

Cabka (Weira, Germany) has pallet processing capacity throughout Europe and also in North America (St. Louis and Toronto), and with Pack'nlog (Linz, Austria) expands its portfolio of reusable plastic logistics products. Cabka's pallets are designed for both one-way and multiple uses. The Austrian firm's Klappbox is well established as a multiple use transport package for dry goods and non-food uses as well as for transporting wine bottles.

Franz Leisch, the owner and president at Pack'nlog, has joined Cabka as its new sales manager for Europe.
