Plastics parts get the right spray job

A flatbed coating unit to coat injection molded parts is user friendly to operate and can be equipped with a multi-level conveying system with frames in sizes of 1600 by 800 mm as well as a usable height of 150 mm. Coating agents that are solvent-based, as well as water-based paints, can be applied in this unit. It is designed with an ionization zone with automatic servo-controlled height adjustment, preparation in the form of a flame surface-activation station, spray cabin with automatic service-driven height adjustment of the spray trapeze, and unheated and heated evaporation zones. At a medium conveying rate of 1 m/min, an actual surface coating capacity of 1.28 m/min can be achieved. Adjustment of the spray guns is carried out by means of a laser pointer adjustment aid.
