Portable chiller

CoverNP_TherTEST-2_EQ.jpgThe Model EQ Series Accuchiller portable chillers are available at up to 3 tons in air-cooled versions, and at 2 or 3 tons in water-cooled models. The air-cooled models have condensers suitable for use in industrial environments with ambient temperatures up to 105F, with the remote-air-cooled unit good up to 115F. A compact footprint and an accessible interior make the chillers suitable for small-machine applications. The chillers have a water circuit of nonferrous construction, encapsulated refrigerant safeties, hot-gas bypass, compressor cycling delay, and a stainless steel brazed plate evaporator. A microprocessor control ensures delivery of water chilled to within ±1 deg F of setpoint. Dual LED digital displays show actual and setpoint temperatures. The control uses a PID algorithm. Diagnostic lights indicate no flow, high refrigerant pressure, low refrigerant pressure, under setpoint, over setpoint, pump on, compressor on, partial load, high water temperature, and probe fault. Units are priced from $3000.
