Precision Engineered Products polishes off acquisition of Connecticut Plastics

Connecticut Plastics has cultivated proprietary plastic fabrication and polishing expertise over three decades that has earned it a preferred supplier position for many companies within the life science, medical, aerospace, and instrumentation and control sectors. It specializes in micromachining plastic parts and producing a smooth, burr-free surface essential for critical electronics and medical applications.

"Precision Engineered Products is already a leader in the areas of plastic injection molding and micromolding through our microPEP and Lacey brands," said President and CEO John Manzi in a press release issued today. "The addition of the talented team at Connecticut Plastics, and the exceptional plastic machining knowledge they bring, is consistent with our strategy to thoughtfully enhance our portfolio with synergistic capabilities that deliver exponential value to our customers," continued Mr. Manzi.

Connecticut Plastics will continue operations under its name in its state-of-the-art fabrication facility in Connecticut.
