RQA and RQB perforators and core pin blanks, from Royal Diversified, are for applications under 0.25 in. and requiring   high-wear resistance and close head spacing. They are available in 500 diameters and 0.001-in. increments. Fractional sizes from 0.010 through 0.505 in. are also available.

They are ground from M-2 high-speed steel and hardened to Rc 60-63 to provide better finish and wear resistance than H-13 core pins. They also have a smaller head diameter per given size than do H-13 core pins, according to the manufacturer. Lengths range from 2 to 8 in.
