Punch Press Degater Is For Difficult Gates,

Small Vestiges

The Punch Press Degater is said to work well with difficult fan gates or with parts with vestiges under ±0.005 in. The degater can be manually or robotically loaded onto the die slide. Once parts are in place, the slide automatically shuttles under the punch for degating.

The automatic unit has a programmable PLC, which can be interfaced to the robot control. If required for manual operation, non-tie down palm button and a light curtain are available for OSHA requirements.

Injection molders have used this degater to automate the part removal process with the manufacturer's end-of-arm-tooling for parts ranging from intricate cellular phone flips to large automotive bumpers. Prices start at $9995.
