Robotic preform handling

A new handling system for PET preforms reportedly increases efficiency and uptime because stoppages for part mishandling are virtually eliminated. From Husky, the G-Series multiposition robotic handling systems for preforms are standard on all of the company?s new preform units, or they can be retrofitted to existing designs. The takeout plate and robot are said to help with transfers of especially tricky short, bell-shaped preforms.
