Smartflow cooling products added to DME's MRO product line

Citing its commitment to being a one-stop shop that provides "the industry's broadest product range and value," DME Molding Supplies has added two new Smartflow cooling products to its product line.

"We've gone through all the options on the market and selected the products with the best quality, best prices and best availability," said Jim Hunt, global business manager for DME Molding Supplies, which is the maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products division of DME Company. "This saves our customers from having to do that work themselves and negotiate with numerous vendors."

The new Smartflow cooling products added are Duoflow manifolds and Delta-Q flow regulators.

Duoflow manifolds are extruded aluminum manifolds that are divided internally and anodized with one red end and one blue end to indicate supply and return in a single manifold. The advantages of the Duoflow manifold are said to be versatile mounting due to its smaller size; mold mount to speed mold changes; simple water hookup with supply and return lines instead of individual lines for every circuit; and a track record of reliability.

The Delta-Q flow regulator is said to be a low-cost, precision flow regulator module "that can be used in conjunction with other Smartflow components such as threaded end caps, flow meters, temperature and pressure gauges, Dr. Eddy flow meters/turbulent flow indicators, Tracer electronic flow meters and cooling water manifolds."

Its glass-filled nylon body and internal stainless steel are said to provide durability, light weight, and corrosion resistance, and the regulator is positioned as an economical solution for leak-free flow regulation of single or multiple circuits. The regulator features fully adjustable flow volume from full shut-off to unrestricted flow, and a modular design that permits customization to meet scientific cooling requirements for each application.
