There will be big change for the next iteration of the largest North American plastics show, NPE, as the show's organizer moves it from Chicago to Orlando, but also making the trip to Florida will be the ANTEC technical conference, which again will be co-located with the event.

SPE Executive Director Susan Oderwald...

...and SPI President and CEO Bill Carteaux bring their organizations together again for NPE2012.

The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) will co-locate the 2012 edition of its ANTEC technical conference with the NPE2012 international plastics exposition, it was announced by SPE and the Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI).

SPE co-located ANTEC with NPE-a triennial event-for the first time in 2009.

Produced by SPI, NPE2012 will take place April 1-5, 2012 at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, Florida. Both ANTEC 2012 and the NPE trade show will begin on Monday, April 2.

In 2010 ANTEC, the world's largest plastics technical conference, was filled with 630 original, peer-reviewed technical presentations covering every sector of the plastics industry. In talks with PlasticsToday.com staff at that NPE show, many attendees and NPE exhibitors said they appreciated the opportunity to attend both the trade show and ANTEC in one fell swoop.

Both SPI and SPE are exhibiting at K 2010. SPI is at Stand 13B91-28 while SPE is at Stand11E21.
