The SG-E60 strand pelletizer has a cutting width of 60 mm and can be customized to the needs of the processor. E. Ott, head of this manufacturer's design department points to a recent deliver as an example. "By means of a special frame with two steel standpipes, the cutting head including the drive is adjustable in a height of 500 mm," says Ott. "During operation the length of the granulate can be varied on the fly from 1.5 to 3 mm without stopping production."

Unlike some competitive pelletizers, the upper draw-in roll is electrically driven. For quality control purposes during cutting, a sight eyepiece is integrated into the sound insulation door of the cutting unit for pellet observation. The base frame has been adapted to the size of the downstream equipment. This pelletizer is intended for both filled and non-filled engineering thermoplastics. ips Intelligent Pelletizing Solutions GmbH & Co.
