UBM Canon and PlasticsToday announces new SVP of content & strategy and additional key team changes

UBM Canon now has a Senior Vice President of Content and Strategy, Pam Moore. Pam has been with UBM for 13 years and has vast knowledge and experience in overseeing brand management, organizing an effective digital content strategy, and connecting customer goals with the right content and editorial.

PlasticsToday, the world's leading industry resource for the global plastics community, continues its strong tradition of editorial excellence with the recent changes and additions to its Content Team. UBM Canon now has a Senior Vice President of Content and Strategy, Pam Moore. Pam has been with UBM for 13 years and has vast knowledge and experience in overseeing brand management, organizing an effective digital content strategy, and connecting customer goals with the right content and editorial. Pam will be working closely with PlasticsToday on its digital content strategy in 2014 and beyond.  

PlasticsToday has also promoted existing editor and industry expert, Heather Caliendo. Heather will be stepping up as PlasticsToday's new Content Manager. Heather started her career as a journalist for The Journal Record, the daily business newspaper in Oklahoma, and has been with PlasticsToday for over a year and a half. Heather graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's in journalism/mass communications, as well as a history minor, and lives in Denver, CO.

PlasticsToday also announced the appointment of Norbert Sparrow to Senior Editor of PlasticsToday. Norbert worked previously as Editor in Chief of UBM Canon's medical media publications European Medical Device Technology (EMDT),medtechinsider, and IVD Technology. Born in Germany and raised in Toronto and Los Angeles, Norbert earned his master's degree in journalism in Strasbourg, France. He wrote for a variety of newspapers and magazines during the 12 years that he lived in Paris and Strasbourg. Norbert returned to Los Angeles in 1986, and joined Canon Communications (now UBM Canon) in 1995 as editor of European Medical Device Manufacturer.

The above moves align with PlasticsToday's focus on serving its global audience of plastics professionals and delivering return on marketing investment to its customers.
