Venture's Bryon Osborne told PlasticsToday that no presses have been added yet, just the infrastructure to support new machines beyond the plant's existing 11, including installation of water, electricity, and air resources. "We are in the process of creating our 2012 annual operating plan to determin the size presses that will be added to the line," Osborne said. At this point, the company has already invested $50,000 in the infrastructure installations, and the company is in a modular building so further expansion, if needed, is possible.

The El Paso subsidiary of Venture Plastics, which was founded and is headquartered in Ohio, now has injection molding machines ranging in clamp tonnage from 150 to 720 tons, with tooling and prototyping capabilities, in addition to finishing, decorating, and assembly functions, among others.

Between its two facilities, Venture Plastics provides injection molding machines from 55 to 725 tons. Its diversified customer base includes, but is not limited to industrial/consumer, major appliance, truck/agriculture, automotive, fuel delivery, and communications.
