Wittmann Battenfeld has expanded its West Coast operations with the addition of a new salesperson. Edgar Sanchez has been hired to cover California, Arizona, and Nevada. Sanchez has years of experience as a project coordinator, customer service manager and in-house sales manager.

Sanchez joins Jason Cornell and Carlos Chavez, as part of a West Coast regional office that has been growing since January 2011. That is when Wittmann Battenfeld decided to establish a direct office in California to support its customers in the West Coast market.

Dave Preusse, president of Wittmann Battenfeld, said in a release that the expanded operation, "provides a quicker response to our customers," adding that the West Coast is a high priority for the company.

Wittmann Battenfeld's sales and service office in San Juan Capistrano provides its customers with a bilingual staff and local stock of spare parts and equipment. Carlos Chavez, Area Sales Manager for Molding Machines & Material Handling Systems, has been part of the Wittmann Battenfeld group since 1998. In January 2011, the company hired Jason Cornell, who has over 18 years of experience in the robot, automation and injection molding machine fields.
