Plastics recycling: Awards and expansion for Adirondack

 John Aspland, founder and president of Adirondack Plastics & Recycling Inc., has been named the U.S. SBA’s 2008 Small Business Exporter of the Year. Adirondack has two facilities in New York, and also has expanded into the Southwest U.S. by launching a new plastics and paper recycling company in McAllen, Texas called Valley Plastics & Paper Recycling Inc.

Aspland and Adirondack Plastics & Recycling also received the SBA’s 2006 Small Business of the Year award as well as the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2005 Washington County Small Business Award.
