PolyOne Corp. (Cleveland, OH) and Riverdale Color Co. (Perth Amboy, NJ) are joining forces to change how processors receive and use liquid colorants. Combining proprietary technology with state-of-the-art liquid colorants and refillable containers, the companies describe the OnColor Complete Liquid Color as a first-of-its-kind, closed-loop system that will help converters and OEMs reduce costs, eliminate waste, and improve safety.
The package includes the OnColor Complete Metering System, with integrated delivery, feed, dosing pump, and drum system that's based upon patent-pending technology. The companies say the refillable system can be billed as an eco-friendly solution. The OnColor Precision Liquid Colorants are single-dispersed pigment colorants available through an exclusive agreement with Riverdale Color. The OnColor Delivery Service represents a returnable system that provides colorant delivery and replenishment, where empty drums are returned for refilling and reuse. OnColor Complete Liquid Color Solutions is currently available in North America, and will be rolled out later this year in Europe, with Asian availability by early 2011. —[email protected]
