Eriez's retrofit magnetic drawer assemblies

Eriez (Erie, PA) has introduced aftermarket featuring Rare Earth (RE) magnets that the company says are 50-100% stronger than competitive RE magnets and 1500% stronger than conventional ceramic magnets. Other features include improved tube spacing for exceptional ferrous contaminant removal, with the ability to capture and hold fine or weakly magnetic particles. The magnets handle resin temperatures up to 250°F.

The assemblies are available in four standard sizes– 4 by 4, 6 by 6, 8 by 8, and 10 by 10 inches – to fit the most common drawer magnet housings. Installation typically takes less than 5 minutes. Plus, because of Eriez’s unique guide rod design, these strong magnets even can be installed in mild steel housings. [email protected]
