Hot Runner Nozzles Are For Medium- To Large-Shot Applications
The GA-Series and GB-Series of hot runner nozzles incorporate external heating and a 'rheologically favorable' flow channel to process such difficult materials as engineering and filled resins. They can be used for medium- and large-shot weight applications.
Units have replaceable tip inserts, which are said to make for easy handling and quick gate configuration changes. They also have embeddable heating elements for full, solid contact to the nozzle bay. In addition, the nozzles can be used for either hot sprue bushings or manifold applications.
The GA-Series flow channel diam eter is a maximum of 12 mm, while the GB-Series flow channel diameter is a maximum of 16 mm. The overall length of the nozzles runs up to 380 mm and special lengths can be requested. GA-Series nozzles can be combined with the manufacturer's VC and VE manifolds, while the GB-Series can be combined with VE and VF manifolds.
