Non-HydraulicSide Core Actuation Eliminates Oil Contamination In Molds

PN 26-9/99UFE'a new Electrocore molds, for both hydraulic and electric presses, are said to reduce set-up times by 50 to 75% and to cut maintenance time and costs. The molds use non-hydraulic side core actuation to eliminate oil contamination and can be used on presses up to 350 tons.

An evaluation of the requirements for all-electric molding presses led the company to develop the Electrocore molds. They say their mission was to find a reliable, cost-effective method of  producing molds for parts that require side core actuation.

The molds are used primarily in the automotive, business equipment, electronics and appliance industries. For more information, including pricing, contact the company by using our Key Contact Directory.
