Purging compounds comply with FDA regulations

Sun Plastech Inc. (Parsippany, NJ),the supplier, contracted a third party laboratory to evaluate the ingredients of its Asaclean purging compounds for FDA compliance. After reviewing the ingredients of the purging compounds, the lab's toxicologist found that all of the ingredients in the grades submitted for review are compliant with FDA regulations for indirect food contact applications (US FDA 21CFR).

The purging compounds are offered for use with thermoplastics processed from 320°F to 735° F.
