ResTech Plastic Molding acquires True Precision Plastics

ResTech Plastic Molding has completed its second acquisition of 2014 with the purchase of True Precision Plastics LLC, located in Lancaster, PA. George E. Danis, CEO of Plastic Molding Manufacturing, parent company of ResTech Plastic Molding LLC and Northeast Mold & Plastics LLC, said in the announcement, "With this acquisition our company continues its expansion throughout the United States and allows us to be even closer to our customers as we provide state-of-the-art technical design, innovative automation systems, greater purchasing power, and an enhanced team of expert technicians and problem solvers."

True Precision Plastics is an ISO 9001:2008-certified plastic injection molder for the communications, electronics, medical, transportation, industrial, and automotive industries with a proven track record of success, said a release from ResTech. The merger will increase investment in new capabilities, machine automation systems, and technology including a mobile automated training system that cross-trains operators in real time to achieve a paperless, more efficient manufacturing environment.

Customers of Plastic Molding Manufacturing's three manufacturing companies will have access to more than 46 years of innovative product development and engineering expertise for applications in the most demanding environments. The three companies operate a total of 83 injection molding machines ranging from 33- to 500-ton capacity, including four two-shot molding machines. A multifunctional Class 8 cleanroom is also available for products requiring that environment.

"This merger demonstrates our commitment to consistently and dependably meet, and exceed, the most demanding plastic molding specifications of our clients, and to always achieve the highest quality and cost efficiency possible," Danis stated.

In February of this year, ResTech announced the acquisition of Northeast Mold & Plastics, in Glastonbury, CT, which gave the company two-shot capability.

Headquartered in Hudson, MA, Plastic Molding Manufacturing is a dedicated "made in America" manufacturer committed to bringing manufacturing back to the United States by creating top quality jobs and training opportunities in each of our local communities, said the company's release.

For over forty years, ResTech Plastic Molding has been a single-source manufacturing company for molded plastic components, plastic part design, and assemblies to OEMs and emerging high-tech companies. From design to market, the company develops sustainable and advanced plastic molding solutions using state-of-the-art technology, and is committed to innovation as well as job growth in the local communities in which the company operates.
