Ring pelletizer features new cutter head design

Ideal for reclaim, compounding, color concentration, or polymerization of filled and unfilled thermoplastics materials, a new water ring pelletizer uses an altered cutter head design to evenly distribute molten polymer to the die. This ensures continuous, uniform pellet production. A lift-and-turn separation of the lower cooling chamber allows for easy bed access and the stainless steel trough tank has a structural steel frame. Three models with throughputs ranging from 300 to 5000 lb/hr are available with remote control panels and an operator screen attached to the machine. The machine allows continuous production so there is no scrap or melt-flow interruptions. A slurry system controls pellet temperature, and light or heavy materials are conveyed without the formation of agglomerates and with fines management.
