Compact, integrated systems with high performance levels are reportedly possible with a new line of closed loop cartridge-valve products. The cartridges are available with two- or three-way valves to provide high flow rates and rapid step response. The servocartridge valves also feature a poppet and sleeve design in four sizes, and a spool and bushing design in three sizes. The spool and bushing servocartridge has a frequency response of 170 Hz at ?3 db and a 12-msec response time at 100 percent stroke. The poppet and sleeve design has flow rates of up to 6100 gpm at a 72.5-psi pressure drop. The step response time is 12 msec at 100 percent stroke. A servopilot valve with a feedback device on the mainstage provide closed loop control. On- or off-board electronics are also available.
