Shredders optimized for plastics

Long blade life and energy efficient operation are some of the features of a new range of shredders designed specifically for the plastics industry. The GranuMATIC range comes in three feeder widths: 560 mm for the Compact, 1100 mm for the Extend, and 1650 mm for the Wide. Options allow the units to be customized for various processes, including injection molding, blowmolding, extrusion, and thermoforming. The PolyCUT cutting system uses a scissors action for clean cuts instead of haphazard shredding, and it creates uniform chips without much heat, protecting the material, extending blade life, and ensuring less energy usage. The unit also features the FlexiPUSH pneumatic blower that feeds material to the cutting mechanism and absorbs stresses. This also acts as a self-cleaning feature when reversed.
