Finished with grind stock on the overall width, bottom of guide shoe, and wedge angle, these assemblies are reported to be easy to install. Their components are hardened, precision ground, and made with dissimilar steels. Treated with Armorclad for lubricity, the graphitic tool steel (0-6) means the slides will move smoothly.
