Winner in the category of New Surfaces for Plastics was Conwed, whose anti slip carpet underlay is produced via a highly innovative process combining special netting technology with co-extrusion. Highly complex, newly developed extrusion tools are used for this process. Because the anti-slip layer is co-extruded, perfect adhesion and no peel off are assured.
