A series of ISO Class 10-rated parallel grippers from De-Sta-Co (Auburn Hills, MI) features internal components lubricated with cleanroom-grade grease and stainless steel stationary and noncontacting shields engineered to eliminate any possible contamination of their patented Dual-V roller bearings. External components for these RPLC Series grippers are made from corrosion-resistant materials. Hardened bearing and tool steels protected by a corrosion-resistant shield are used for their internal mechanisms. Also, contaminant can be retained via vacuum pressure or expelled via a purge/scavenge port.

RPLCs use a nonsynchronous motion that allows independent jaw motion that enables off-center picking and placing, and also allows you to use comparatively longer gripper finger lengths.?CK
