Systems provide tight temperature control

The TTC family of hot runner temperature controls handles up to 640 zones. Reportedly designed for worldwide operation, the hot runners feature true global input power flexibility, fast startup, multiple language conversion options, universally accepted icons, and security options for ease of use.

The system?s PID2 control algorithms combined with phase-angle firing provide fast startup and tight, accurate temperature control, said to lead to improved molding performance and better quality parts on challenging applications.

The hot runners include the original TTC touchscreen interface (pictured above), with a Windows NT operating system and control of up to 640 zones; and the TTC International Interface, which is a full-featured, lower cost option that controls up to 128 zones. The TTC is also available as a panel-mount control, which integrates into any injection molding machine?s control panel.

Advanced, user-friendly software comes standard on the TTC controls and includes Gammavision for SPC data/graphing; Mold Doctor for advanced troubleshooting; mold monitor for material protection, heater resistance monitoring that predicts heater failure, and heater wattage monitoring that predicts leaks; and a field calibrator feature.
