Thermoplastic CF prepreg production starts in Europe.

Commercial supply is slated to start in September. Automotive represents another target sector for the high impact resistance materials.

In March of this year, Teijin completed development of a technology that enables molding of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) using thermoplastics resin within 1 minute. Leveraging this high efficiency process, the company aims to penetrate various markets where strength and light weight command a premium, including automotive and aerospace.-[email protected]
