Plastics for Life was the theme of the Society of Plastics Engineers ANTEC 2015 global parts competition, held in conjunction with NPE2015 last month in Orlando, FL. All of the entries were winners at parts competitions from other SPE conferences. What resulted was the best of the best in innovation and creativity showcasing how plastics make our lives better, safer and more efficient. Shown here is the recipient of the People's Choice award: The Bowling Pin Elevator, nominated by QubicaAMF of Mechanicsville, VA. It took gold in the Twin-sheet Heavy Gauge category and was the People's Choice at the 23rd Annual SPE Thermoforming Conference.
