Toshiba noted that the new service center office is critical to growing business in the region. "This is a thriving market us," said Toshiba Machine America General Manager Tom McKevitt. "With our new service center, we can pursue additional injection molding business in this fast-growing Mexican market and back it up with the support that Toshiba is known for providing to its customers."
According to McKevitt, having locally-based service engineers is a major advantage. "They have the in-depth knowledge and technical expertise needed to quickly, easily help our injection molding and die casting machine customers maximize the productivity of their systems," he added.
Another advantage is the office's location in the Nippon Express Guanajuato Logistics Center. A thriving business and industrial hub in central Mexico, it's within close proximity of major manufacturers and accessible to a variety of transportation options, said Toshiba.
Key employees at the Toshiba Service Center include Branch Manager Robert Kinzel, Assistant Branch Manager/Die Cutting Service Engineer Jun Agatsuma; Die Casting Field Service Representative Carlos Alberto Alvarado Rico, and Injection Molding Field Service Representative Hector Ivan Calderon Garcia.
