With resin production increasing and plastic processing projected to come on strong over the next few years, machinery companies aren't wasting any time in promoting their global operations.

At the event, Milacron received two orders for India-built pipe extrusion systems from local customers. The orders were for complete systems and included the extruder, controller, die/head, cooling/sizing tank, puller, cutting saw and accumulation table. The first system will ship before the end of 2015 and the second system is scheduled to ship in Q1 2016.
The Milacron Extrusion Open House was hosted jointly by Brian Marston, Vice President and General Manager, Global Extrusion Business, and Mahendra Patel, Vice Chairman, Milacron India. Patel explained: "With the addition of extrusion capabilities, Milacron continues to expand the product portfolio that we're able to offer our customers in India and the surrounding regions. Milacron India is a leading player in injection molding and has versatile blowmolding products for various applications available in the region."
Husky stresses commitment to Middle East, Africa and South Asia
Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. (Bolton, ON, Canada) also announced that it just wrapped up its first appearance at Gulfood Manufacturing 2015, which was held from Oct. 27 to 29 in Dubai. The event is one of the biggest food and beverage processing trade shows in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) markets. Husky showcased its range of PET preform and beverage closure molding solutions and highlighted how its specific application expertise can support emerging packaging trends in this market.

Since entering the market, Husky stated that the company has built solid relationships and established a strong presence in MEASA, with representation in the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, India and Turkey. Gulfood Manufacturing was established last year and is already regarded as the most influential and largest industry show for its sector throughout the MEASA region. This year more than 1,500 international food manufacturers, suppliers and industry service providers participated in the show. Exhibitors represented more than 26 countries and attendance is said to have exceeded 30,000 visitors from more than 150 countries.
