New to the railcar unloader market is Nucon Systems, which has designed an unloader to handle large quantities of resins, from 160,000 to 200,000 lb. Unlike other unloaders that are cycled, the Nucon unit consists of two blowers that offer continuous cycling. One blower constantly vacuums the material out of the railcar while a second blower pressures the material to the top of the customer?s silo.
Blower speed can be increased or decreased separately. In addition, the system does not require high-voltage electrical and mechanical equipment.
