Inline valve gate nozzles with integrated pneumatic or hydraulic drives are designed to improve metering and maintain temperature. Developed from the company?s HPS III external nozzle, this hot runner device is installed in the diaphragm assembly unit, located entirely in front of the manifold. This location helps prevent deflection due to injection pressure. In addition, the pin is shorter than in competitive valve gates, which means less growth under heat and thus more accuracy. The conical tip, made from a low-heat-transfer alloy, is replaceable and ensures smooth melt flow into the cavity and a repeatable closed position. All flow channels are highly polished. Available in 5-, 8-, and 12-mm flow channels, the nozzles take up less space than other nozzles, allowing their use with standard manifolds. The nozzles are suitable for single- or multidrop systems and stack molds.
