Venturi conveyor

Using a multilevel Venturi-principle system design with a minimal amount of air, noise, and power, a model in the new cleanroom-friendly V-Jet series of pneumatic materials conveying equipment from Fasti GmbH (Kufstein, Austria) represented here by Comet Automation Systems Inc. (Dayton, OH), reportedly can move more than a half-ton of pellets per hour. Pellets are drawn into the conveyor?s separator through a suction pipe. A filter separates materials from the conveying air.

The V-Jet has no wear-prone movable parts and is virtually maintenance-free and explosion proof, according to the company. V-Jets come in three models: The V-Jet Professional has a vacuum pump and a 20-ft hose; the V-Jet Economy has a 10-ft hose; and the V-Jet Micro is for small loads. You can see them at K 2007, Hall 10, booth H60.?CK
