Film extrusion: Vins adds W&H flexographic printing press
Vins Plastics Ltd. (Bradford, ON) has added a 10-color PRIMAFLEX CM flexographic printing press from Windmöller & Hölscher Corp. (Lincoln, RI) to support its production of flexible packaging products like shrink sleeves and various laminated and printed products. The company serves the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and industrial markets and will install the press in early 2009.

W&H’s 10-color PRIMAFLEX CM line is available in web widths of 41 and 52 inches and has a maximum repeat length of 31.5 inches. W&H says production speeds range up to 1300 ft/min, and the line offers a wide range of options, including the Turboclean technology.
